The Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District is a registered, non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the arts in Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area.

Our intention is to make the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District a thriving, vibrant and community-driven organization. We are an all-inclusive organization representing many member groups and individuals with membership privileges.

The Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District is committed to bringing enriching experiences to the community by promoting, advocating and fostering the arts in all forms, we encourage education in, and appreciation of, all aspects of the arts, professional, established and emerging.
Vision
The Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District is dedicated to encouraging and developing the arts in Sault Ste. Marie and the Algoma District. Our artistic vision evolves from community involvement and grows out of the success of our new and existing programs. We offer support to artists, art associations and the community at large. We make The Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie & District a thriving, vibrant and creative service organization for our community.
Currently the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District plays a significant role in advocating for the increased awareness of the arts in the community. We are an all-inclusive association representing many groups and individuals. Our main priority is working closely within the community and fostering its growth appropriately.
The Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District promotes the artists on local, regional and international levels.
